The Department of Justice started providing payments this month to people from a current federal claim declaring infractions of the Fair Real Estate Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act for homes built in West Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota, according to a news release
In March 2020, the DOJ submitted a federal claim which declared that the Hampton Corporation and numerous other people and entities broke the FHA and ADA by stopping working to style and construct multifamily homes and an associated rental workplace that are available to individuals with impairments.
