Fifteen start-ups considered to have the most ingenious company designs in the field of energy shift and environment defense were commemorated at an award event in Berlin on 28 March– receivers of The Launch Energy Shift Award (SET Award) administered in part by the German Energy Firm ( dena).

The finalists were chosen from over 400 applications and 63 nations in spring 2023, and provided their concepts to a worldwide jury of professionals at the SET Tech Celebration. These finalists were trimmed to a last 5 winning start-ups, each of which got EUR10,000 in cash prize. The winners of the 2023 Launch Energy Shift Award are:
